In conjunction with the recent 2015 Malaysia Formula 1 Grand Prix from 21st to 27th March 2015, Valiram Group collaborated with Petronas to preview the IWC Schaffhausen during an exclusive dinner on 25th March 2015 at the Symphony Lake Suite, KLCC. Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were the guest-stars of the night.

“It was an honour to collaborate with Mercedes AMG and Petronas this year, as we had the opportunity to immerse our guests as well as ourselves in a new sphere at luxury experience together with the Mercedes AMG team,” said Ashvin Valiram, Executive Director of the Valiram Group.

Hamilton and Rosberg sported their personalised IWC Ingenieur Chronograph Editions. These two special edition watches, limited to 250 pieces each, were individually designed by each of the racers who worked closely with IWC skilled watchmakers in Schaffhausen. Both editions feature a titanium casing and a medallion of carbon fibre from one of the Silver Arrows car raced by the Mercedes AMG Petronas team, set into the back of the watch, along with the personal logo of each respective driver.

Not your typical meet and greet, guests of the evening had a golden opportunity to mingle with two of Formula 1’s most revered racers, and dine with them to flutes of wine and an exclusive four course dinner by the Mandarin Oriental. The night carried on with a Q&A session with Hamilton and Rosberg.

The momentous occasion was in celebration of the best of luxury, style, and speed. Malaysia’s Queen of Pop Jazz, Dato’ Sheila Majid ended the spectacular night with a phenomenal and outstanding performance.
